I don't think there are any novelties at the club on an offer from Manchester United

Sir Alex Ferguson is continuing to deny that Manchester United are close to signing Wesley Sneijder, but Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has stoked rumours that the playmaker may move after all.
"Is Sneijder staying or going? I've been asking myself that question. I hope that he stays,” Moratti said.

Rumours have surrounded Sneijder’s possible move to United for weeks, and while Ferguson insisted that reporters should ‘forget’ about a deal going through, the Manchester United manager hinted that there may be certain problems with the playmaker heading to Old Trafford.
“I’m not going to talk about that [Sneijder], it’s not an issue. It’s just difficult,” Ferguson said.
Reasons that the deal hasn’t gone through have reportedly included United not being able to match Sneijder’s £250,000 a week wage at Inter Milan, and the star’s TV presenter wife wanting to remain in Italy.
And Moratti contributed his opinion to the debate, saying that money is a big factor in discussions over a move.
“There are many rumours and not a lot money,” Marotti said.

But the president claimed that no official offer has been put forward by United as yet.

"I don't think there are any novelties at the club on an offer from Manchester United."
