Wesley Sneijder: Considered a move away from Inter Milan in January

Sky Bet

Wesley Sneijder has admitted he thought about leaving Inter Milan in January and received an interesting offer from Zenit St Petersburg, while he will keep his options open at the end of the season.
The Dutch playmaker has been linked with a move away from Inter for some time and was reportedly on the radar of both Manchester United and Manchester City.
He ended up staying with the Nerazzurri this winter and Claudio Ranieri has stated that he expects him to remain at the club beyond the summer as well.
However, Sneijder is refusing to rule out a switch elsewhere after revealing the level of interest in him during the January transfer window.
He told Voetbal International: "I was tempted to leave the club. I had some interesting offers and Zenit St Petersburg made an offer. It was interesting. They wanted to push ahead with it.
"There was absolutely nothing wrong with their proposal, but I didn't think it was the right time for me to leave Inter. We will see what can happen at the end of the season."
