Wesley Sneijder coy over Manchester United move
Wesley Sneijder has sparked further rumours regarding his future at Inter Milan by suggesting he would be open to a move to Manchester United.
The Dutch playmaker has supposedly been a transfer target of the Red Devils as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to acquire a long-term replacement for Paul Scholes.
United were reportedly close to sealing a deal for the 27-year-old's service last summer, but Sneijder has denied having any 'real contact' with the Premier League champions.
"Who would not want to play in a club like that? But there has never been real contact," he said.
"I am fine here at Inter. But I don't know where I'll play next season. If last Tuesday [January's transfer deadline day] some club had submitted an offer, maybe I could have gone.
"But the truth is that I'm happy at Inter."
United's neighbours Manchester City have also been linked with a move for Sneijder, who will reportedly cost any potential suitors around £30m.
