Manchester United and Barcelona are set to go head to head to sign Valencia defender Adil Rami.
The centre-back is rated at £20 million and was watched by Old Trafford scouts during his side's 1-0 win over Stoke in the Europa League on Thursday.

The French star joined the La Liga club last January before being loaned back to former side Lille.
Rami, 26, could come face to face with United if both sides continue to make progress in the Europa League, with Sir Alex Ferguson's men holding a 2-0 first-leg advantage in their tie with Ajax. He is also wanted by Barcelona.

Meanwhile, rising star George Long has signed a new four-year deal at Sheffield United — despite interest from United.
The 6ft 4in keeper, 18, has been described as the ‘next Joe Hart’. Blades boss Danny Wilson said: 'I’m delighted to keep him.'
