Wesley Sneijder is holding out for a big money summer move to the Premier League according to online reports.
The Inter Milan midfielder was close to joining Manchester United last year but talks ultimately broke down after the Old Trafford club failed to agree personal terms.
Sneijder has recently fallen out of favour at the San Siro and turned down a lucrative January move to Zenit St Petersburg in February.
At the time, the Dutchman revealed "they were prepared to go really far in order to sign me”, but that he didn't think it was the right time to leave Inter.
"Sneijder wants to play in England. He wanted to move to Manchester United last summer but that didn't happen because of the money and various other reasons.
"He likes the Premier League, he likes the atmosphere in the stadiums and believes his game would be ideally suited to English football."
