Exclusive '; Mexican club want Becks

  • Mexican club plotting ambitious bid for Beckham

    David Beckham
David Beckham is wanted by Mexican club Xoloitzcuintles Tijuana - who will offer to fly him by private jet to and from games.
The top-flight Mexican side want to sign Goldenballs for the first six months of 2012 and are willing to pay the former England skipper a cool £6m for half-a-year's work.
French side PSG are believed to be the side closest to securing the former Galactico's signature, thanks to their financial backing by the Qatari Investment Authority, but Beckham is believed to be hesitant about uprooting his young family, who are settled in the US.
That is where Xolo will come in, with the handsome financial incentive and the option of staying in America and commuting to games.
Beckham might want to carefully consider moving to the South American country that has the world's 20th highest murder rate in the last decade, ahead of Russia.
Especially when he learns that Jorge Hank Rhon, the father of the club's president Hank Inzunza, was recently arrested at his house with 40 rifles, 48 handguns, 9,000 rounds of ammunition and a gas grenade.
