Michael Owen: City WILL slip up in title race

Michael Owen claims Manchester City will stumble in the title race.
City have been five points clear of Owen's Manchester United since thumping them 6-1 at Old Trafford and Roberto Mancini’s side remain unbeaten.
Owen refuses to panic at City’s lead and predicts they will have a “sticky patch”.
“They are top of the league, playing great – as well as they’ve performed in years,” said the striker.
"Everyone then was taking a step back then and saying, ‘It might be a year too soon for City’ and it just shows how quickly things can change.
“They’re on a crest of a wave at the minute, but every team will go through a sticky patch at some point and we’re still early on in the season.
“We’ll see what happens after Christmas and start forming opinions then, but there’s no doubt about it, they’re a force to be reckoned with.”
Owen, who has been ruled out for six weeks with a thigh injury, believes United’s experience will be crucial in the second half of the season and they are expert at chasing down teams.
“Man United over the years have always gone on great runs towards the end of the season and have pulled it out of the fire many times,” he said.
Meanwhile, United have reduced their debts by £83.5million to £433.2million after posting a jump in turnover for the first quarter of the financial year.
United’s revenue was up 16.5 per cent to £73.8million for the period up to September 30, mainly due to a £40million training kit sponsorship deal with DHL.
