Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand eyes victory at 'hostile' Liverpool
The defender has been on the end of three consecutive defeats at Anfield, but insists that there is no place better to win for the Premier League champions

Rio Ferdinand believes that there is no better place to win as a Manchester United player over Liverpool than at Anfield.
The Red Devils travel to Merseyside on Saturday to face their bitter rivals in an eagerly anticipated game where hostility is always expected.
But the current Premier League champions will not want to lose focus amidst the hype of the fixture, and will be keen to return to business as usual with a win over Liverpool, and the 32-year-old defender is relishing the encounter.
"Anfield is a hostile place, but there is no better place to win at as a Manchester United player," the defender told the club's official website
"Regardless of what part of the season it is, going to Anfield is always huge for us.
"They are our local rivals. It is a game we look forward to and one I am sure the fans are really excited about."
United surpassed their local rival's record of 18 league titles last season, capturing their 12th Premier League crown to make it 19 league wins overall.
Despite getting one up on their neighbours, Ferdinand admits that his side need to improve on their current record of three consecutive defeats away at Anfield, with the most recent in March losing 3-1 after Dirt Kuyt scored a hat-trick.
"We have not played as well as we should have at Anfield recently,” he added.
"We have given away some soft goals here and there. Over the first seven years I was at this club, we had a really good record against Liverpool, home and away.
“A lot of those victories were based around defending well as a team, playing collectively, not as individuals. If we do that at the weekend, I am confident we can get a good result.
"Maybe when they went a goal up they made it harder for us than we did for them.
"You can't argue with the results. I am not making excuses. We lost the games. They were the better team on the day. This time we want to change it.”
Ferdinand was quick to admit that he was not bothered on whether or not Kenny Dalglish’s side can make it back into the top four, providing his side finish above them.
"I couldn't care less where they finish,” he continued.
"They have some very talented players. As long as they don't finish above us, I don't care."
