Both clubs have been told by intermediaries that United will bid €17 million for him
Manchester United are reportedly set to make an offer for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinja Kagawa in January.
According to Itasportpress.it, the Japan international is also being pursued by AC Milan and Juventus, but both clubs have been told by intermediaries that United will bid €17 million for him in the New Year.
Kagawa has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for a number of months and, it would appear, Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to launch a concerted effort to sign the 22-year-old.
United are still thought to be keen to bring in midfield reinforcements following the retirement of Paul Scholes although, so far, the Red Devils have coped expertly without the 36-year-old.
